To hire an access platform, you’ll need to provide proof of business or personal ID, confirm delivery location access and hold valid insurance (we can assist if required). If operators are involved, we’ll need confirmation of IPAF training. Hire periods are flexible – from single-day jobs to longer-term project hire.

Yes. Every used platform sold by The Platform Centre is fully inspected, LOLER-certified and delivered with a clear service record. We also offer assistance with delivery, training and ongoing support if required.

Yes. As well as standard IPAF courses, we support managers, site supervisors, and non-operatives who need MEWP safety awareness training. This is ideal for those overseeing MEWP use without directly operating the machine.

We offer fast turnaround, often with same-day or next-day delivery available across key areas of the UK. Delivery depends on platform availability and site readiness, but we’re built to serve contractors working to tight deadlines.

Need to book IPAF training? Ask about course availability and we’ll help you secure a place. You can book directly through The Platform Centre – we offer accredited IPAF training for scissor lifts (3a), booms/cherry pickers (3b) and push-around verticals (PAVs). Courses are available on-site or at one of our regional training centres and tailored to both individuals and teams.

Absolutely. We welcome part-exchanges and can provide a competitive valuation against the price of your next MEWP. Our team will arrange inspection and collection as part of the process.
